We at Metalscreed take great pride in being the industry leaders in innovative, environmentally sensitive product designs for concrete floors.

Before the company was formed in 2004 and introduced Metaform, its startling new concept in Prefabricated Steel Movement Joints, there were only heavy, clumsily manufactured joints available on the market, made from off the shelf standard steel sections, such as Angle Iron, Cropped Steel Plate, Flat Bar, and Mild Steel Sheet.

Metaform changed all of that, with its lightweight High Tensile Steel body, with patent protected features such as its anchor teeth, recessed foot mounting slots, snap on feet, and cord retaining strips, along with a host of other improvements, including the introduction of Ultra High Strength Steels for use on its Load Transfer Mechanisms. Being manufactured by continuous High Speed Roll Forming techniques, it meant that the prefabricated joint could achieve a flatness tolerance of better than + or - 0.5mm per linear metre, far in excess to that of its competitors.

Environmental awareness has guided us into designs which utilise less materials, produce a lower carbon footprint, and are fully recyclable. All of our products are superior in performance to their rivals and competitively priced in the market place.
